The Return of Darkness... And Live Evil

Yes, you read that correct, Live Evil is BACK. London, correction, England's premier metal gathering is ready to attack after a year hiatus. It promises to be another legendary weekend, with Satan and Midnight both confirmed to play the festival itself, held this time at The Garage, with AFITFOG favourites Antichrist set to blaze trails at the pre-show. The weekend of October 18th, 19th and 20th this year will see the third full Festival in its new home at The Garage in London, Islington. Live Evil announces the only UK shows this year from the blistering reformed NWOBHM legends SATAN and Cleveland, Ohio's unmissable Satanic Royalty MIDNIGHT. Both acts are devastating live and will add legendary shows to Live Evil's many previous highlights. The Saturday and Sunday days will be completed by an all new selection of the cream of the international metal scene.

Swedish thrash wunderkinds ANTICHRIST are also back to obliterate the Friday pre-show party. This evening show will be ticketed cheaply but separately from the two weekend days and will also take place at The Garage (Upstairs). More line-up announcements for all three days will be made soon.

Live Evil Festival is an International Heavy Metal Festival presenting the very best underground Black metal, Thrash, Speed, Death, Heavy Metal, Heavy Rock, Metal Punk and Doom bands from around the world. The bands who play it are all handpicked by Live Evil but using Fenriz and his Darkthrone 'Band of the Week' choices as an extensive but shortened list to keep quality high and eliminate external pressures. The festival is 100% committed to the fans and bands who play it.

Maniac Monday XXII - 1985

Yes, another show complete, this time the year 1985 got its turn. In-keeping with recent shows, there is much thrash and speed metal on this show, but some other stuff too, so make sure to check it out. Obviously this isn't a definitive 1985 show, like all my shows, I more wanted to play bands people mightn't have heard or bands I haven't been playing enough of. And using 1985 as an excuse to play more Warrant too, hehe.
Not sure how many shows are left this year, there might be two, or maybe one—my last show is supposed to go out Dec 31st but I am awaiting confirmation on that. Regardless, the next show is on December 17th, so don't forget to tune in to NTS for that one. Also, one of these next two shows will be a 2012 show. Look out for a special Amulet show early next year, by the way. 'til next time...
