Nope, nothing wrong with my Sony headphones, this one is definitely mono. I'm 33, so not that young.
Are you still talking about the BATHORY show? Having just checked MM XXVI - 2000AD I can definitely say it is NOT mono. 100% stereo. Maybe re-download it.
No, I'm talking about this show. Unlike the Bathory show where you can only hear the sound through the right channel. On this show you can hear the sound through the right and left channel, but it's the exact same thing through both, no separation of the instruments. Much like listening to the 50s recordings of Elvis Presley or the Beatles albums in mono.
A-ha. I wasn't aware of this. Small price to pay for me being 3458 miles from the NTS studio, I'm sure you'll agree
