Maniac Monday LVIII - Demo Entrails IV—2000AD

A one-hour show for you, dear maniacs, which was due to some takeover on NTS. No biggie, it gave me the chance to play some stuff that just would've gotten lost in a two-hour show. It was tough deciding on which show to represent for an hour only, and I almost did an all-Metallica one, a 1994 show and some others, but decided on this instead.
But, this is not the last of Demo Entrails. There will be one collecting all my favourite demos soon, which is why I left out 2000s demo titans like Deathhammer, Antichrist, Bastard Priest etc. from this edition.
Anyways, I am all set now for monthly shows from here on in, with the next being on May 26th, the following June 23rd to my knowledge, so be ready!

Maniac Monday LII - BOTW—The New Flesh

 ALRIGHT, another 2000s-only show, this time playing only BOTW-inductees. It is also a semi-best of Maniac Monday show to some degree, so apologies to regular maniacs if this one comes off a little lazy. But, these are all great tracks from some of today's best acts, so to some it may be a goldmine, hehe.
So a BIG THANKS to Fenriz and Arjan for all their hard work to keep like-metal-minded maniacs in the know. I, for one, have found tonnes of killer bands on the page. Sure, there have been almost as many that didn't do it for me, but hey, you can't like 'em all.
Maniac Monday returns on March 17th, St. Patrick's Day, so expect some sort of Irish feature then. SLÁINTE.

Maniac Monday XXXV - Mesmerised by Insanity

 Okay. Monday just passed was another Maniac Monday and here is the tracklist and download/listening link for you ears to devour. I did this one live in the NTS fortress, hence the odd mistake/slow track-start. I am not going to lie, I have done about four shows there in the past year, so my studio skills were somewhat rusty.
ANYWAYS. Was great to play out some of the killer new stuff that I have been listening to a lot of lately. In particular the Power Trip record Manifest Decimation—so fucking tough, ough!—but also the new Age Of Taurus, Dream Death, Autopsy, and Körgull The Exterminator LPs, the Zom EP, the Ranger demo... Fuck, I have a load more new stuff sitting in a folder I haven't even had to time to check out yet, so a similarish show may arise again might soon.
Shouts as always to the bands, the promo-mongers who send me all the new releases, the people who listened in, and the people who will do in their own time now the show is reanimated.
I will return in July for three shows. If anyone would like an old show uploaded just leave a comment and I will do so as soon as my brain is working again.

Maniac Monday XXXI - Beyond the Blade

ALRIGHT. Apologies to those who tuned in on Monday nite to find no Maniac Monday, this was down to a technical fault on the NTS programmer's side. No big deal. The show eventually aired last nite instead and here it is in its entirety for your listening and downloading pleasure.
Another show of 2000s releases found me playing a few bands/styles I couldn't quite figure into any of the previous shows and I think this comes off rather nicely.
Maniac Monday WILL return as scheduled on May 6th, no more fuck-ups, promise. I am thinking this 90s black metal show I keep promising might finally be getting its calling card...

Maniac Monday XXVIII - Possessed by Steel

ALRIGHT. Seeing as NTS' site is down due to them updating their site, I thought it HIGH TIME I posted last week's show. After the apparent 'success' of Maniac Monday XXVI - 2000AD, I decided to do another show of post-2000s-only tracks, this time adding some thrash to the mix.
